i wanted to juz go and sleep and put the cat thing behind me but my partymates in World of Warcraft told me they wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that a cat is badly injured and could need help. so i looked online for 24hr vets in singapore, called the one in balestier, and asked wad i should do. i thought i sounded silly expressing my concern for a stray, but the lady on the other side was veri nice about it and gave me advice on wad to do. to bring in the cat during afterhours would be close to 300 bucks, and that's without medication, and the vets themselves might decide to give about 10-20% discount for strays. non-afterhours juz 30+ to 50+ i think. i said i had no means of bringing the cat in during this time. she told me to try to pick it up and clean its wound. and check whether it's in shock. when a cat's in shock, it would either try to bite u when u touch it, or will juz stay still i think. i was too scared by the possibility of being bitten to notice wad she said after that. i went downstairs to look at the cat again. i still didn't dare to get close to it. i inched closer to it every one minute. when i was in touching range, i didn't dare touch it. then i thought of looking at its right eye which was in the shadow. using handphone light, i realised it was open. i wonder if it's dead or juz in shock. i finally dared to touch it, to try to find a pulse.. there was no reaction from the cat, i couldn't feel any heartbeat when i touched its neck, and it seems to be feeling slightly colder than room temperature. being 80% sure that it's dead, i juz left it alone and came back upstairs. What Would You Do when you witness a cat being murdered?
